Seven snaps for seven days - weeks thirty nine to forty one

I seem to have been struggling with my seven snaps over the past few weeks hence this catch up post. Some days just do not seem to have presented any photo opportunities and some days I have been hard pushed to choose the snap that I want to represent the day. I am hoping to get back to normal this week and have today's snap in the bag.

Interesting window display in the local barber's shop.

The map chair in the town hall. It has a speaker in each wing and when you sit down you hear poetry about the local area. It is fabulous!

A bit of a grey day at the seaside, with the sun trying to come out.

Lovely colours in the leaves of this succulent.

A fantastic knitted hanging basket outside the haberdashery shop in my granny's town.

Gorgeous colours over the sea at sunset.

Having a lovely and productive time at knitting group. these mittens will be in my Etsy shop shortly.

Very proud of achieving my Level Two Amateur Boxing Association Award!

My mum helping my niece who is trying out walking in her first pair of shoes.

There was a pretty double rainbow over the valley. You can just make it out above the trees.

Milkshakes at an impromptu lunch with friends. Lots of fun!

A selection of my vintage china having an outing at a much needed crafternoon.

    1. It would be fun if you could come to crafternoon! My cousin told me about the basket so I set off to find it and was glad I did!

  2. The barber shop display is fabulous!!! Tony is a fan of classic shaving supplies (I kitted him out with many of the basics two Christmases ago) and would no doubt enjoy it, too.

Those milkshakes look delicious! I'm down with the flu right now and pretty much only eating things I can drink. I think I'll treat myself to a shake with some vanilla ice cream, raspberries and strawberries later to help cool off my throbbing throat.

It's hard to believe we've reached week 40 in the year already. Goodness, just twelve more to go and we'll be ringing in the new year again. How time flies!

    Big hugs,
    ♥ Jessica

    1. I really hope you are managing to shake off the flu Jessica and are starting to feel better. Time is flying, sometimes these photo posts really make me realise that. Mark has been to the barbers for a proper shave and enjoyed it.

  3. The knitted hanging basket, how amazing! My man is a classic shaver and would love this display. It looks very similar to his side of the bathroom, lol. I really like this idea of 7 pictures for the week.

    1. Thank you, I am enjoying my picture series. Sounds like he has some great products! The barber specialises in vintage cuts, I like how his window reflects that.

    1. Thanks Gillian. I loved the basket too. I only wish I could have got on the same level as it to capture the detail of the knitted plants inside.
