Seven snaps for seven days - sixteen
A beautiful Spring day for a walk with friends. The view from the top of Penistone Hill over the Bronte moors near Haworth.
Watching the patterns appear in my ball of wool whilst knitting the sleeve of my cabled cardigan.
A gorgeous sheen on these jewel coloured 'iced' buttons.
Admiring the goodies in my friend's haberdashery. Such vibrant, cheerful colours.
Travelling through fields and fields and fields of bright yellow oilseed rape on the way to spend the weekend with family.
Nature on the rampage in the 'Old Cem'. It is now a park, with the old headstones, from the 1800s, stacked around the edges.
Lovely walk beside the sea with my husband and my dog on a sunny but cold and windy afternoon.

Lovely set of photographs. I love seeing fields of yellow oil seed rape stretching out into the distance, so pretty. The colour you are using for your cardigan is divine!
ReplyDeleteThank you. Finally I have a picture of the cardigan yarn where the colour is true. It makes me happy to see it which bodes well for wearing it!
DeleteI really love the last picture

Thank you. It was an experiment and I was really pleased with how it turned out.
DeleteLoving the colours in your photos this week , so fresh and vibrant. And that first photo of the sky is fab - I do love a big sky! x
ReplyDeleteBig skies are the best aren't they? Lincolnshire is wonderful for them as it is so very flat and open. It was cheery to have such a colourful week!
DeleteThose buttons are mouthwatering! They look like sweets...
ReplyDeleteDon't they just! My mum has them on a cardigan and they are gorgeous.
