Seven snaps for seven days - ten

Beautiful sunny day for a dog walk. Stopped to admire the colour of the sky, the clouds and the colours of the trees.

Crafty Tuesday. Fabulous evening with friends making padded hangers out of vintage hankies.

Getting ready for Zumba!

Clear and still - perfect for seeing tree reflections in the canal.

View on a walk with my sister, having tried every other trick to get my desperately tired niece to go to sleep.

Such colour! Freshly squeezed blood orange juice for brunch.

My indoor hyacinths are beginning to bloom. Hit by their wonderful scent every time I enter the kitchen.

    1. I am a great fan of autumn and winter but it has been very lovely to see some blue sky this last week rather than endless rain!

  2. Blood oranges are so fantastic! I love not only their inviting citrus flavour, but also their vivid hues. They're usually one of the first ingredients I reach for when making salads for dinner parties (assuming I can find them around our little town, which isn't possible the whole year round) because I love how festive an ingredient they are.

    Tons of hugs,

    1. I bet they are wonderful in a salad, I haven't tried that out but will do. I do find them hard to get hold of though. Hope you have a fabulous and enjoyable weekend.

  3. Lovely images. I've got hyacinths around the house and their fragrance is beautiful, and quite strong too. Freshly squeezed blood oranges - how wonderful. Their colour is amazing. x

    1. Every year I think I must have more hyacinths so I made sure of it this year! I love cutting open blood oranges and seeing their fabulous colour.
