Seven snaps for seven days - two

Thank you so much for the comments on my blog and for the conversations that I have had with people since writing my last post. I was quite nervous about sharing something so personal in public but I am rather proud of myself for doing so and feel like I have taken a positive step forward. I have my last therapy session in the coming week and I am scared about how I will go on after it has finished. It pleases me though that I have begun this project and that I have it to focus on.

Here are the seven snaps that represent my week.

Elevenses chat with my parents, great uncle and cousin's husband (cousin-in-law?). Covering lots of fascinating new to me family history, followed up later in the day with my granny, aunt and uncle. Several family history jigsaw pieces have now slotted together!

I finished a book that I got from my sister for Christmas. It is by Jennifer Purcell and is a social history book. It was very interesting, but not the best of that genre that I have read. I wanted more of the featured women's own voices, more extracts from their diaries.

One of my favourite dressed from a Dior exhibition that I went to with friends. I have lots more pictures of the lovely dresses to share so I will be doing a separate post on this.
